This course is designed for Care Workers and Support staff to identify and report on hazards in a Service Users home. The content is designed to make staff aware of hazards to look out for and to determine the risks to the identified hazards. It looks at putting control measures in place, how to document the hazards and report these to their Line Manager.

This refresher training course is to remind staff of their responsibilities when it comes to administering medication to our Service Users.
The Infection Control course explains the various types of infection that we can get, how they enter our system and get passed on. It looks at who is more vulnerable and the symptoms of an infection. The course covers how we can break the chain of infection including how and when to wash your hands. Also by cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising. Finally it includes what Bryson staff responsibilities are to control the spread of infection.
This course will inform care staff how to handle service users money and valuables in their home. It will explain Bryson and NISCC code of conduct, Bryson policies that staff need to be aware of which include the whistleblowing, vulnerable adult and confidentiality policy. It will look at what what responsibilities care staff have when handling cash and valuables and how to report any issues.
This course looks at how to store and handle food, how to cook and chill food and how to make sure food is prepared properly. If food is not handled properly it explains what food poisoning is and how it enters your system, how to recognise the signs and symptoms and how to treat it. Also the course focuses on good personal hygiene and the importance of following good practices when working with food, There is also information on what Bryson expects of their staff when handling food in a service user's home. This is followed by a short assessment to underpin knowledge and understanding of the topics covered.
The on-line course introduces staff to Bryson Charitable Group and the work that is carried out in the Group Companies. It covers key polices that staff need to be aware of whilst working for Bryson and information on the Domiciliary Care role in Bryson.
This training is for persons who provide services to Bryson involving processing personal and sensitive data who are not employees of Bryson Charitable Group. This includes but is not limited to self employed service providers, agency staff, contractors, trainees, students and volunteers.
This course is for Managers and Data Protection Champions to give guidance on their roles and responsibilities with regard to Data Protection and in particular in relation to GDPR.
The following Course is to introduce the changes that are now in place under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). It will examine how Bryson are putting GDPR into practice and what security concerns we need to be aware of within our working environment.
All new staff who process personal data must complete this training within the first week of their employment.
